5/25/09 One Pound Sunfish caught on Northland 1/32 Bumble Bee Fire-Fly jig. Caught over 150 sunfish from 8 to 10.5 in. Great day on the water. Sent to Ryan Raveling Outdoors From a new friend Dan Erickson "Ryan, Thanks. I've also sent a few pix from last weekend. Jeff and our group landed a 42" (REALLY FAT) pike on Saturday on 4# test that took a 1/2 hour to land. Sunday morning, he did it again on the same 1/16 oz. Forage Minnow jig and 4# line he used on the first one, only this one measured 44". It's amazing what those tiny little jigs and mini treble hooks can withstand. We also caught lots of walleyes in the keeper range and several over, up to 25". Oh and a nice mess of those famous huge crappies. I am definitely coming back, and with all the responses I've been getting from co-workers and friends after they look at the pictures, I won't be alone. Thanks again guys, we had a ball.
